Interactive Inc. - Who We Are
Interactive Inc. was founded in 2000 by two training experts who represent the two perspectives of the business: vendor and client. This unique collaboration results in custom training and information products that are guaranteed to meet the client's needs in the most effective way possible.
John Rudeen: Client Perspective
As the director of training for two multi-million dollar companies, Interactive Inc. President John Rudeen spent almost 22 years as a client of training providers. He is intimately familiar with the concerns, goals, and objectives of businesses that contract for training development. When he decided to become a training provider, he determined to create a way for our clients to enjoy the many benefits of training - and especially multimedia products - at substantial savings of both time and money.
Says John:
"When I was a client, I realized that we didn't have sound interactive instructional design capability in-house. That's why I outsourced it.
Over the years, I've learned that CBT not built on a solid foundation of good interactive instructional design is most often CBT that doesn't meet the intended objectives, i.e., CBT that simply doesn't deliver on its promises. Ours does. We deliver top-quality processes; not just in terms of user interface, but in terms of sound interactive instructional design that actually results in people learning and remembering things, leading to better knowledge application and increased productivity."

Joan Kremer: Instructional Design Expertise
Vice President Joan Kremer has spent more than 25 years as an instructional designer, creating training programs for a vast array of businesses using every training medium available. As a training vendor, she has worked in the area of CBT/CAI/multimedia training since the early days of computer-based instruction. Her clients have included many multinational Fortune 500 corporations, as well as medium-sized regional businesses.
Joan worked with John as a client for several years before they founded Interactive Inc. for the purpose of providing outstanding, effective training quickly and as inexpensively as possible. They combined their years of expertise to develop a unique process for creating cost-effective multimedia training that produces bottom-line business results.
Says Joan:
"I'm a pragmatist when it comes to training. I always ask first what the trainees need to know and how will they learn it best. Then I suggest instructional design approaches that will get to the heart of the training needs as quickly as possible and within the client's budget. I've always tried to focus on the client's business goals and training objectives. Now, with a partner who's been in that position, I get an even better perspective of our clients' needs and goals. In the end, the training we design and create is definitely better." |
